3D Work
During my time at MCW multimedia experiences, I've often incorporated stylized 3D into my work. Underneath are several projects in which I've combined 2D with 3D animation.
Stylized 3D in Blender

Character animation for a mobile app for Sophia Kinderziekenhuis. By applying single unshaded colors to the model and applying 2D grease pencil animation to the face, I was able to replicate a 2D style for this 3D character.

A fragment from "Cultivated Meat", an explainer video for the Hong Kong Science Museum. While the cow and the backgrounds are 2D, I used 3D animation for the burger, the pipette and the petri dish.

Another fragment from "Cultivated Meat", an explainer video for the Hong Kong Science Museum. The entire scene is 3D, modeled and animated in Blender.

A fragment from "Microalgae in Action", an interactive explainer video for the Hong Kong Science Museum. I modeled the scene in 3D, which made it easier to add dynamic camera movement.

A fragment from the projection on Betsy, an interactive explainer video for the Hong Kong Science Museum. I applied black materials to the plane models, and used Blender's Grease Pencil to draw with white lines on top of the models.
During my time at MCW, I also did some experiments in Blender - trying to replicate more complicated 2D styles in a 3D environment. You can see several results below:
